A Wider Circle provides gifts for the families we serve through our Silver Spring Essential Support Program. We are also committed to providing toys to the DC Housing Authority’s Gift of Love Program. We operate a Winter Wonderland in Silver Spring that provides toys to clients six days a week during the month of December.
How can you help? Volunteers assist in a number of ways:
- Gathering deliveries and moving them to the designated toy storage spaces
- Opening donation packages and organizing the contents by type
- Packing and labeling boxes of toys for pick up by the DC Housing Authority
- Assisting clients in selecting and wrapping gifts as needed.
