Throughout December, families visiting our Essential Support Program for free furniture, adult clothing, or baby items will have the chance to select gifts in our festively decorated Winter Wonderland.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Stock the Winter Wonderland
- Assist clients in selecting gifts
- Wrap gifts
- Open, sort, and move donated gifts from storage as they arrive throughout the month
Shifts:
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Our busiest shift, with the most client interactions. Volunteers will help serve clients, assist with gift selection, and wrap gifts.
- 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: A slightly slower shift, but still a great opportunity to help clients, wrap gifts, and support the Winter Wonderland behind the scenes. Volunteers will also focus on restocking and preparing for the next day, making a big impact even with fewer clients.
Volunteer Instructions:
Upon arrival, please check in at the reception desk and let them know you’re here for the Winter Wonderland. If it’s your first time volunteering in the Winter Wonderland, an Essential Support or Volunteer Team staff member will get you started.
